As a result, more and more people are openly discussing their choice to abstain from sex. While the trend is gaining popularity on platforms like TikTok, there are quite a few celebrities who have been vocal about this choice for years.
Everyone can have their own personal reason for abstaining from sex. For example, Insecure‘sYvonne Orji has had a number of sex scenes on the hit HBO show, but still chooses to abstain from sex until marriage in her personal life. Justin Bieber also abstained from sex before meeting his future wife, Hailey Bieber, as a way to rededicate himself to God.

Justin Bieber chose to abstain from sex for personal reasons and continued his abstinence when he started dating Hailey Bieber. They chose to continue abstaining until they wed in 2018.
