Matthew Williams To Present His First Givenchy Couture Collection This July
Here’s what we know about the creative director’s upcoming line.
Matthew Williams is reportedly working on his first Givenchy couture collection.
Back in 2020, the 1017 ALYX 9SM founder took on the role of creative director for the French fashion house. Williams’ debut collection celebrated the brand’s heritage with references to Alexander McQueen and Riccardo Tisci. The designer’s other notable projects since joining the label include his reinterpretation of the signature Antigona accessories line, his Spring/Summer 2021 campaign starring Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, as well as a number of footwear drops.
Willams and Givenchy have no disclosed any details about the upcoming couture line. However, we can expect a full reveal this coming July. Stay tuned while we wait for more information.
