Big Sean Complains Headliner Harry Styles Made "Way More" Money at Coachella
The rapper reportedly drew a crowd that was nearly as large as the English artist’s set.
Coachella‘s Friday headliner Harry Styles capped the first night with an unforgettable performance with an iconic special guest, Shania Twain, as well as the debut of his new song “Boyfriends.” The evening also saw an exhilarating number from Big Sean, who shared the stage with YG and Jhené Aiko for their respective collaborations.
However, after both artists’ sets, TMZ noted that Big Sean was able to draw in a crowd that was almost as large as Styles’. The rapper started earlier than the English singer’s 11:30 p.m. PST slot, however, the musicians’ performances overlapped at some point. Big Sean took a screenshot of the article’s title, “Big Sean at Coachella Crowd Rivals Harry Styles’ Main Stage … Competing Headliners???,” and posted it on his Instagram Story with the caption: “Except he got paid way, way, way, way more than me.” Moments after sharing that on his Story, the artist deleted it right after.
As of writing, Styles has not commented on the situation. Stay tuned while we wait for more details.
