The First-Ever Hotel in Capri, Italy Is Set to Reopen This Summer
We’re adding Hotel La Palma to our post-pandemic travel wishlist.
Hotel La Palma, designed by Francis Sultana, is set to make its debut this summer. Located in Capri, Italy, the hotel celebrates the island with inspiration from the Amalfi coast.
Originally built in 1822, Hotel La Palma — the oldest hotel on the island — is updated by Oetker Collection in collaboration with local craftsmen and artists for in-room artworks, handmade furniture and more that pay homage to the hotel’s heritage.
The property, comprised of 50 guestrooms and suites, is designed with a neutral color palette with splashes of Mediterranean blue, green and turquoise. Bathrooms are lined with marble and bronze, while rooms are accompanied by balconies offering an open view of Capri. Guests can enjoy the indoor bar and restaurant, as well as the pool terrace and bar, and rooftop lounge that are all dressed in Sultana’s signature style.
