Lululemon's Latest Collection Is a Major '00s Throwback
The activewear brand revives some of its most-loved items.
Lululemon is throwing it back to the ’00s, reviving some of its most-loved items from the Y2K days.
Aptly dubbed the “Throwback” collection, the lineup brings back some of the brand’s most iconic styles with a modern twist. Arriving across four drops, the range features the Throwback Astro Pant, Throwback Shape Jacket, Throwback Inspire Crop and Throwback Still Pant.
The Astro Pant, offered in “Graphite Grey/Black,” “Butternut Brown/Deep Artifact,” “Bronze Green/Medium Olive” and “Chambray/Graphite Grey,” is a flared silhouette with color-blocked detailing at the waist. Made out of buttery-soft fabric, the pants feature waistband pockets for holding daily essentials like keys. Meanwhile, the Shape Jacket is a fitted garment using Lycra fiber for added stretch.
The Inspire Crop leggings are highlighted with mesh panels for breathability, and additionally come with back pockets. Finally, the Still Pant is a relaxed, high-rise silhouette complete with a drawcord for a customizable fit. The loose-fitted piece is offered in “Graphite Grey” and “Artifact.”
Peep the Y2K designs above. The “Throwback” collection will kick off with the Astro Pant on May 26, followed by the Shape Jacket in late June; the Inspire Crop in late July; and the Still Pant in late August.
