The Best Looks From 2022 Met Gala After Parties
Lingerie and nipple pasties ruled the dress code.
After our favorite celebrities wowed us with their amazing ensembles at last night’s Met Gala, they disrobed and shed their gowns for skimpier night attire to celebrate their hard sartorial work.
While the biggest fashion event of the year honored the Met Museum’s “In America: An Anthology of Fashion, carrying the theme of “Gilded Glamour,” it seemed as though the younger crowd wanted to pursue a more modern approach as models Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber opted for sexier outfits for the second half of the night.
Wearing sheer black lingerie, Jenner proved intimates can work as outerwear as she rocked the sultry matching set with bronze underwear underneath. Her BFF Bieber rocked a cleavage-baring diamond bra underneath an oversized black blazer paired with mini leather shorts, showing off her runway-worthy legs.
TikTok influencer Addison Rae followed suit as the He’s All That star braved the night air, wearing nipple pasties underneath a black asymmetrical gown featuring an extravagant skirt with a barely-there front, showing off the actor’s black underwear. Grammy award-winning singer Olivia Rodrigo stayed true to her pop-punk aesthetic, donning a pink and red tweed mini dress with hints of white corset boning on the side for extra flair.
Gossip Girl actor Evan Mock followed suit in the ultimate cool guy fit, wearing a slightly sheer fitted turtleneck, alongside rhinestone covered baggy jeans, giving his signature pink spiky locks their own spotlight. Rosalía seemingly rode in on a motorcycle in typical rockstar fashion as the “Malamente” singer carried a bike helmet, while looking like a lady in her gilded tube dress, complete with delightful baubles on the hem. The singer’s tuxedo jacket and thigh-high leather boots brought the entire look together.
Model Laura Harrier stuck to the gala’s theme, rocking finger waves inspired by the roaring ’20s to complement her sequined lavender dress which boasted a seductive open back. Take a look at the stars’ Met Gala after-party looks in the gallery above.
