Netflix To Roll Out Its Own Live Streaming Service
Featuring unscripted shows and stand-up specials.
Netflix is reportedly working on its own live streaming service.
According to Deadline, the company is in the “early stages of development, for its swathe of unscripted shows and stand-up specials.” This new project will allow viewers to vote in real-time for competition series and talent contests like Dance 100. With live streaming in the works, Netflix Is A Joke festival might eventually see a return, which featured live stand-up performances from Dave Chappelle, Larry David, Pete Davidson and more. Additionally, Netflix will potentially put together live reunions for its own shows.
As of writing, the live streaming service does not have an official release date. Stay tuned while we wait for more details.
