You'll Soon Be Able To Edit and Unsend Texts on Apple's Messages

The feature arrives as part of the tech giant’s iOS 16 update.

Apple has unveiled its iOS 16 update at its annual WWDC conference, with one of the standouts being the new features added to Messages.

With the update, users will be able to edit or recall recently sent texts and recover recently deleted messages. The tech giant is also adding a feature where users can mark conversations as unread to revisit later. Messages will additionally feature SharePlay, allowing synced content such as movies or songs while chatting with others.

Apart from Messages, other significant updates to iOS 16 include being able to personalize your lock screen experience. The screen will come with a multilayered effect, which users can change the look of the date and time with different type styles and colors. In addition, notifications will appear from the bottom rather than the top.

You can learn more about Apple’s iOS 16 announcement here. Watch the WWDC 2022 presentation down below.
