Britney Spears' Ex-Husband Tries To Crash Her Wedding
Jason Alexander has been charged for trespassing, vandalism and two batteries.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have officially tied the knot. However, during the ceremony earlier today, the singer’s ex-husband Jason Alexander attempted to crash the wedding.
The event took place at Spears’ home in Thousand Oaks, California, where Alexander went live on Instagram, showing his followers his attempt to enter the premises. According to Alexander, Spears invited him to the wedding. However, based on the fact that he was charged for trespassing, vandalism and two batteries, it is evident that he did not receive an invitation.
According to TMZ, Spears’ attorney Mathew Rosengart is “personally working with the sheriff’s department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” “Jason Alexander has been handcuffed, taken into custody and arrested. I express my thanks to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt response and good work,” Rosengart told Page Six.
Alexander and Spears were only married for 55 hours in 2004. Despite him supporting his ex during the #FreeBritney movement, Alexander has “an alarming history of lurking outside homes of the singer’s family,” Page Six reported.
Spears was not harmed during the altercation. The newlyweds have not yet addressed the situation — stay tuned while we wait for more details.
