Cara Delevingne Shares What Kissing Selena Gomez on 'Only Murders in the Building' Was Like
The pair of IRL-best friends play each other’s love interest on the Hulu show.
Cara Delevingne opened up about what it’s like playing Selena Gomez‘s love interest on Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building, specifically what kissing her best friend was like.
“It was just fun,” Delevingne said during an interview with E!‘s web series, While You Were Streaming. “Would anyone in the world not like to kiss Selena?”
She continued, “It was just hysterical. It’s just one of those things, especially when you know someone so well, it’s the comfortability and you kind of have fun with it.”
“We never get to see each other as much because we’re so busy,” Delevingne added. “So to be able to spend that much time with her, and also to be able to work with her, she’s just such an incredible person to work with whether I know her or not. She is brilliant, like one of my favorite actors I’ve ever worked with.”
Delevingne, who plays an art aficionado named Alice, helps show a different side of Gomez’s character, Mabel. “It’s a little sparky in all the right ways that makes you feel like, ‘Oh, someone’s opening someone’s world,’” the series’ producer, John Hoffman, told Vanity Fair.
Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building is now streaming on Hulu.
