Glossier Inspires Creativity With Drop of New Eyeliners
Featuring 10 playful shades all inspired by art.
Glossier hits our beauty radar again with a revamped eyeliner, the No. 1 Pencil, which are bound to be debuted in our repurposed empty candle selfies.
Inspired by Colorslide, one of Glossier’s discontinued products from the sister-brand PLAY, the OG eye pencil has been reimagined and revamped into a Glossier eyeliner that keeps the heritage and product function integrity of the original Colorslide pencil but with more payoff. No. 1 Pencil deposits a creamy, rich, buildable and long-wearing color with just enough drydown for you time to choose between a smokey eye or fun smudge-over paired with your favorite eyeliner. What really makes the No.1 Pencil special is that it is transfer and water-resistant, staying in place for up to 12 hours.
There are 10 highly pigmented shades included in the collection. Keep reading for the deets:
- Ink – a rich black
- Frame – a neutral brown
- Kiln – a rustic orange
- Ochre – a dandelion yellow
- Fresco – a dark forest green
- Patina – a light grey-blue
- Lapis – a dark-denim blue
- Rococo – a deep aubergine

The No. 1 Pencil retails for $16 USD and is available on Glossier’s website and all retail stores.
