Machine Gun Kelly Announces Upcoming Hulu Documentary, 'Life in Pink'
With appearances by his daughter, Casie, Megan Fox and Travis Barker.
Machine Gun Kelly announced he’s releasing a Hulu documentary titled Life in Pink, which details the last few years since his transition from rap to pop punk music.
“In two years, my whole life changed … And we had the cameras rolling,” he captioned the trailer, which he shared on social media. The clips offers glimpses of MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, as both an artist and regular person. “My life wasn’t always like this,” he says. “I just don’t think anyone saw me comin’.” Additionally, he reflects on his days before fame by visiting where he grew up. He also shares personal moments with his daughter, Casie Colson Baker, and gets candid about the hate he’s received in the limelight.
Megan Fox, whom he’s engaged to, and Travis Barker, whom he collaborated with on his last two albums, Tickets to My Downfall and Mainstream Sellout, also make an appearance in the doc.
The forthcoming project also focuses on the overall influence music has had on his and his fans’ lives. “That’s what’s so cool about music,” he says. “So many different personalties and so much that we don’t have in common with each other, but when that one song comes on that we all love, it all goes away.”
MGK’s Life in Pink is “coming very soon” to Hulu. Watch the official trailer above.
