Listen to G-Dragon's Cover of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love"
Released shortly after last week’s teaser.
Last week, G-Dragon surprised his fans by posting an unexpected collaboration with a teaser of his cover of Elvis Presley‘s 1961 hit “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” which he dropped in full today.
The partnership comes shortly after the release of director Baz Luhrmann’s biopic Elvis, which stars breakout actor Austin Butler as the late musician. “Wise men say/Only fools rush in/But I can’t help falling in love with you,” the K-pop artist sings with soft piano instrumentals in the background. The track quickly transitions into a fast-paced rock song: “Like a river flows/Surely to the sea/Darling, so it goes/Some things are meant to be.”
The song is accompanied by graphics of Presley, as well as images GD himself wearing an Elvis belt and tee. It’s unknown whether these pieces will see an official release, but stay tuned as we learn more and listen to G-Dragon’s take on “Can’t Help Falling in Love” above.
