G-Dragon Hints at Baz Luhrmann Collaboration With Cover of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love"

G-Dragon has unexpectedly dropped new music. The K-pop star didn’t really release a brand new track, but took to Instagram to share his take on Elvis Presley’s iconic hit “Can’t Help But Falling in Love.”
The 47-second clip shows visuals of the late pop star, with G-Dragon’s smooth vocals accompanied by piano instrumentals in the background. “GD + EP + BL = TCB,” the artist captioned, hinting at a forthcoming collaboration with Baz Luhrmann, the director of the recent Elvis Presley film starring Austin Butler.
The cover comes after a series of images posted by the South Korean musician a day prior. The cryptic shots reveal a graphic Elvis T-shirt, as well as a belt that is worn by the artist himself. Luhrmann seemed to confirm the collaboration, commenting with the same caption, “GD + EP = TCB,” with TCB standing for Taking Care of Business, the name of Presley’s band.
