Naomi Osaka and Levi's Head Off Court for SS22 Collection
The athlete serves up denim skirts.
Renowned tennis player Naomi Osaka has teamed up with Levi’s once again for a Spring/Summer 2022 denim collection.
“I wanted to keep this collection fun and playful, and also include some pieces for everyone. I was trying to bring some light-heartedness with this collection as a reminder for us all to enjoy the life we’re living and not take things too seriously. These pieces all make me feel super confident and comfortable because they’re all so flattering and fun to wear,” the athlete shares in a press release.
Featuring five new pieces, all based on Osaka’s original sketches, the array of garments boast contrasting denim for an edgy and more textured look. A shirt jacket that could easily be worn as a dress arrives with medium and light wash denim, while a cropped bomber jacket bears a an ombre effect, alongside Osaka’s trademark “flower bear” logo spread across the chest and arms.
Elsewhere, skirts steal the show as a statement-making mermaid skirt and ruffled, asymmetrical mini skirt that’s begging for a sunset date. Meanwhile, the denim halter top screams main character energy. Each piece is made with 100 percent organically grown cotton.
