G-SHOCK Reimagines Signature Watch Series With New GM-S2100PG and GM-5600PG Models

Combining form and function.

Staying true to maintaining traditions while weaving in modern design elements, G-SHOCK reveals two revamped versions of the brand’s most classic models, dubbed the GM-S2100PG-1A4 and the GM-S5600PG-1. To remix each signature silhouette, G-SHOCK maintained the geometric shapes of the 2100 and 5600 series, but downsized the two new editions to offer a slimmer alternative.

Arriving in the iconic octagonal form the series is best known for, the GM-S2100PG-1A4 wristwatch is coated in stainless steel and enhanced by rich pink gold ion plating that appears on the bezel, adding a feminine yet sleek touch. The metal-clad watch comes equipped with design features such as a delicately-shaped dial, an additional sawn line varnish along with hairline finishes and intricate forging on the top that is enhanced with a black resin band to complete the watch.

Utilizing similar design elements, the GM-S5600PG-1’s square pink gold bezel is also held firmly in place by an elegant black band and provides a variety of tech-centric features that make the newest iteration both fashionable and functional. Incorporated into the shock and water-resistant designs is a 1/100 second stopwatch as well as a vibrant electro-luminescent backlight.

The new watch series is now available on the official G-SHOCK website. The GM-S5600PG-1 retails for $180 USD while the octagonal GM-S2100PG-1A4 retails for $200 USD.
