BTS' RM Continues Solo Artistry, Featuring on Balming Tiger's Latest Single "SEXY NUKIM"
A track showcasing “Asian Sexy” and “Asian Cool.”
BTS members have been rolling out solo projects over the past few months ever since the K-pop group announced its hiatus. Jungkook teamed up with Charlie Puth on the track “Left and Right,” J-Hope dropped his first solo album Jack In The Box, and most recently, RM has joined forces with music collective Balming Tiger on a new single.
Titled “SEXY NUKIM,” the track sees the group’s members — Mudd the student, Omega Sapien, sogumm, and Leesuho — alongside RM, who also appears in the accompanying music video. This marks the first time a non-member artist contributed to the vocals. “We wanted to show ‘Asian Sexy’ and ‘Asian Cool’ through the music and visuals of the new single,” said the alternative K-pop group in a press release.
Aside from his music projects, RM recently revealed in an interview with The New York Times his plans to open an art space in South Korea. “In particular, we are collecting works by artists of a generation that experienced the Korean War, the dictatorship of national history, and tremendous economic instability. These artists are not too well known in other countries,” he shared.
