Alexa Demie and Kim Kardashian Star In Balenciaga's Winter 2022 Campaign
Set in a simulated snowstorm.
It’s clear Demna has an eye for muses as Euphoria’s Alexa Demie and the “Balenci Barbie” herself, Kim Kardashian stars in Balenciaga’s Winter 2022 campaign.
Furthering the Creative Director’s vision of stimulated weather, the campaign is set in an artificial snowstorm. The inimitable designer juxtaposes environments with his innovative garments, featuring cozy layers in warm climates and minimal clothing in near freezing temperatures.
Kardashian dons a similar ensemble to her Vanity Fair Oscar party dress. In the same saturated blue shade, this iteration of the skin-tight dress features back cut-outs for extra drama. Elsewhere, Demie looks every bit luxurious in an opulent simulated fur coat paired with the brand’s signature Glove Boots. She also appears in a demure outfit composed of a V-neck knee-length frock with contrasting all-white bodysuit complete with elegant gloves.
The Winter 2022 collection also includes an extra-spacious XXXL hoodie and a pullover jacket for outerwear, trompe l’oeil slip dress and towel top. Accessories arrive in the form of the iconic Crush and Swing handbags, Trash Pouch and HD sneakers.
