Kylie Jenner Takes Notes From Barbie in Her Latest Pink Fashion Moment

Based on Kylie Jenner‘s recent stylish fit, she’s partaking in the Barbiecore trend that recently erupted thanks to Greta Gerwig‘s upcoming film, Barbie.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder wore a unique Comme des GARÇONS pink top, which featured 3-D hands that wrapped across her chest and stomach. Jenner paired the top with a black mini skirt that featured the same hands design, clear Gianvito Rossi heels and a small Amina Muaddi bag.
Clearly, Jenner’s fit was ahead of its time — the surrealist fit is from Rei Kawakubo’s fall 2007 collection for Comme des Garçons. Kawakubo’s inspiration for her looks simply came from wanting to stand out. “I’m tired of mundane, everyday fashion. I’m curious. I want something that takes us to another world,” Kawakubo said of her designs at the time, per Vogue Runaway.
