Season 4 of Selena Gomez's 'Selena + Chef' Takes Place in the 'Hannah Montana' Malibu Home
It’s the best of both worlds.
Selena Gomez is paying tribute to her Disney roots in a very special way. Season 4 of her cooking show, Selena + Chef, took place in the actual Malibu home from Hannah Montana.
A rep for HBO confirmed the news. The famous home, which includes seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, has also been featured in another show. It’s Big Little Lies‘ Madeline Martha Mackenzie (Reese Witherspoon)’s home in the series.
Additionally, what makes Gomez’s Disney connection to the home more special is that she previously guest-starred on Hannah Montana as Mikayla, a pop star who has a rivalry with Miley Cyrus‘ Hanna Montana.
In real life, Gomez and Cyrus were often pinned against each other. There were rumors that the pair didn’t get along. However, over the years, they’ve denied that was ever the case. In April 2020, Gomez made an appearance on Cyrus’ Instagram show Bright Minded in which they discussed mental health.
