ORIGINAL STORY (August 11, 2022): Timothée Chalamet has given fans a taste of his dark side in the teaser trailer for Bones and All. The film, which revolves around a cannibal romance co-starring Taylor Russell as his love interest, is directed by Call Me By Your Name‘s Luca Guadagnino.

“He’s fantastic, a great performer and to see him soaring the way he is doing now, I feel proud of him,” the Italian film director said, per IndieWire. “And this character is something very new for him, both endearing and heartbreaking.”

The synopsis for the film, which is based on novel by Camille DeAngelis of the same name, reads as follows: “Bones And All is a story of first love between Maren, a young woman learning how to survive on the margins of society, and Lee, an intense and disenfranchised drifter; a liberating road odyssey of two young people coming into their own, searching for identity and chasing beauty in a perilous world that cannot abide who they are.”

Bones and All is slated to premiere in theaters on November 23. Check out the first official teaser trailer below.
