Aries Taps RETROSUPERFUTURE For Italian Eyewear Collaboration

Exclusively made in Italy.

London-based label Aries has joined forces with contemporary eyewear brand RETROSUPERFUTURE on an exclusive collaboration made in Italy.

Fusing together the fundamental ethos of both brands, the collaboration sees Aries revamp RETROSUPERFUTURE’s signature ZED silhouette in two exclusive colorways. Available in “Aries Aqua” and the classic “Havana,” the collection sees Aries utilize its sports-luxe aesthetic to revive the eyewear label’s technical design.

Characterized by its unique shield lens and carefully considered acetate body, the frames boast a thick construction of precise lines, smooth curves and thick temples. The standout feature of the ZED is its lens cut, which extends out to the glasses’ exterior, offering a distinctive angular detail on the temples.

Complete with high-tech features like its semi-flat lens and flexible hinges, the collaborative ZED boasts Aries’ signature gold detailing alongside its notable ‘Aries Column’ graphic on the glasses’ arms. The column also makes a subtle appearance alongside the bridge of the glasses, merging the dual-branding with a tech-inspired design.

The collaboration comes shortly after Aries unveiled its FW22 lookbook, inspired by the concept of devotion and its fanbase.

The new Aries x RETROSUPERFUTURE collaboration is set for release on September 8 and will be available for purchase from the Aries website.
