Aleali May Partners With Fly Geenius for Vanson Leathers Collection

Available now via Fly Geenius.

Davon Bean, founder of the Fly Geenius brand and creative director of Vanson Leathers, partners with Aleali May for a capsule dedicated to Black biker culture.

Aleali detailed how motorcycle clubs influenced her upbringing in an Instagram post.

I grew up around bikes all my life with my Dad (aka Buddha) as a member of motorcycle clubs like ‘Ruff Ryders’  and now ‘Chosen Few.’ Not only did it influence my personal style, it really taught me how to build a foundation with a solid squad, celebrate together, and enjoy the ride.

Done in a silver, red and sky blue color story, the collection includes moto jackets, vests and gloves in the signature Vanson skeleton theme. Coordinating graphic tees in white and black colorways round out the offering.

Davon Beam spoke to Hypebeast on the partnership and the importance on highlighting Black and female bikers.

When I became the creative director for Vanson Leathers streetwear division, one of my goals was to shine light on female bike riders, and women in fashion. The first person I thought of was Aleali May. She is an inspiration for many of her generation; a charismatic female powerhouse, full of creativity, and innovation.

The collection is available now via Fly Geenius with prices ranging from $389 USD to $1,514 in sizes XS – XXXL.
