Nike Revives the Classic Air Force 1 With a Chrome Silver Swoosh
Silver is the new black, after all.
Nike‘s classic Air Force 1 Low silhouette has just been given a statement makeover. The classic sneaker is set to arrive in a new “Chrome” colorway, but it’s a lot more subtle than you might think.
Retaining its crisp white leather upper, the reimagined sneaker features small accents of chrome silver, placed at the tip of its side Swoosh and across its Nike logo graphic on the heel tab. The silhouette’s signature perforation details also feature in a new shape on the shoe’s toe box, complete with a seemingly new brown insole.
The new sneaker comes shortly after Nike unveiled a series of festive Lunar New Year editions of its Dunk and AF1, each pair a celebration of the “Year of the Rabbit.” Elsewhere, the brand is gearing up for the release of its Valentine’s Day lineup, featuring a yellow-tinged Dunk Low and cherry-red Air Force 1s.
Stay tuned for more details coming soon, as the Air Force 1 Low in “Chrome” is set to land on Nike’s official website in the coming months .
