Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals Are Back With New Kicks: the NMD S1 MAHBS

Launching in an “Oatmeal/Blue Corn” colorway.

Pharrell Williams and adidas Originals continue to expand their partnership, introducing a new sneaker silhouette to their catalog.

The Humanrace founder has worked with the footwear giant to release the MAHBS, which joins his NMD S1 collection, most recently featuring the RYAT boot.

Williams spoke of the release, “MAHBS, especially the naming convention, are yet another opportunity to be the expression of a group of humans, a mob. But we want to take these expressions and appropriate them for good. Positive propaganda, if you will.” He added, “It’s a hybrid of innovation and working to get things done, to inspire. And when you see the Humanrace mark, it’s not only to let you know it’s the property of this brand. It’s a nod to our intention around the future of wellbeing.”

The new sneaker, arriving in an “Oatmeal/Blue Corn” colorway, uses natural materials. Dressed in the neutral “Oatmeal” color throughout, the design is given pops of blue on the spray-painted heel as well as the Humanrace branding that runs across the lateral side. The shoes don a worn look with knit and canvas material, and are equipped with S1 soles featuring BOOST technology, offering added cushioning for comfort. Meanwhile, the rubber outsole features the signature Trefoil logo that provides grip and traction.

Take a closer look at the sneakers via the gallery above. The Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals Humanrace NMD S1 MAHBS will launch on January 27 via the Confirmed app as well as adidas’ website and Humanrace in addition to select retailers.
