Dr. Martens' "Made Strong" Campaign Pays Homage to the 1460 Boot

Celebrating a diverse class of creatives.

The 1460 boot is one of Dr. Martens‘ most iconic designs, dressing entire generations over the years. Now, the silhouette is shining in the spotlight, thanks to the British brand’s latest “Made Strong” campaign.

Demonstrating both its versatility and the diversity of its fan-base, Dr. Martens brings together creatives from all walks of life to pay homage to the 1460. Mexican singer-songwriter Niko Rubio, environmental activist Xiuchtezcatl, Nigerian skate crew Motherlan, photographer H and performance artist Oduenyi are just among the few to embody the boot’s impact on all cultures. The 1460 appears in different iterations from its knee-length styling and platformed versions to vibrant graphic options. Traversing across London, Tokyo and New York, the campaign exemplifies how the effortlessly cool and formidable footwear supports innovative and ingenious rebellion across the world, inspiring a new class of boundary breakers.

Take a look at Dr. Martens’ “Made Strong” campaign in the gallery above.
