Ice Spice Is in Her "Pretty Girl" Era

Just a day before her first Saturday Night Live performance, Ice Spice has just released her newest single, “Pretty Girl,” featuring Rema.
The Bronx artist is merely stating the obvious in the Afrobeat-infused track, rapping along to the “Calm Down” singer’s melodic voice as she spits, “Yeah, you the one, there’s no number two/If I had three wishes, I’d waste ‘em on you/Watch what you say, got faces on me/No waist is on me.” With its infectious and dance-floor ready beat, there is no doubting that this song will become an instant hit. Ice has been rising to the top of the charts with ease as “Barbie World” featuring Nicki Minaj broke Whitney Houston’s 31-year record for the quickest song to reach number one in Billboard Rhythmic radio history.
The track may also signal a new, softer era for the princess of rap as the song continues, “I ain’t been in love in a minute/Don’t know what it was, but you get it/Big three words out ya mouth and you meant it.” Ice Spice has confirmed that she is dating someone, but is understandably tight-lipped about the new budding romance, not disclosing who her new boo is. We’re just mad it’s not us.
