Earlier in the year, Kiko Kostadinov teased a new collaboration with ASICS during Paris Fashion Week for his Spring/Summer 2024 menswear collection, offering fans a first look at the NOVALIS GEL-TEREMOA in “Yellow/Brown.” The sneaker was part of a wider ASICS Novalis line, first announced by Kiko Kostadinov in June.
An official look at the sneakers was released earlier this month, showcasing a neutral “Black/Grey” in tandem with the earthy colorway. Adding an element of refinement to the classic dad shoes, the new kicks opt for a supple premium leather upper. Mesh covers the tongue and lining, resulting in a balanced utilitarian aesthetic. The chunky sole literally and figuratively elevates the silhouette, featuring a sculptural heel, lending to a posh streetwear vibe. Co-branding is embossed into the sides atop the stitched tiger stripe, while both brands’ monikers rest on the tongue underneath the laces.
The wider line remains grounded in technical gear, designed by Kiko Kostadinov alongside the brand’s womenswear designers: Laura and Deanna Fanning. The unisex range features parka jackets, shirts, trousers and staple hoodies, paired with graphic T-shirts and caps to round out the apparel offering.
As expected, the GEL-TEREMOA sneaker sits at the heart of the footwear offering, landing in silver and brown hues and boasting cushioned GEL technology and BLAST PLUS foam.
