Kiko Kostadinov x Crocs Was Made for the Great Outdoors
Officially launching after its runway debut earlier this year.
Kiko Kostadinov and Crocs are joining forces to introduce the VAALS, a technical new silhouette that reinterprets foam footwear through elevated materials and a focus on utility. Originally debuting during Kiko Kostadinov’s Menswear Autumn/Winter 2026 presentation in Paris, the shoe blends traditional craftsmanship and Crocs’ aesthetic with technical design.
Arriving in three earthy colorways — “Black,” “Kelp,” and “Yellow Sand” — the upper pairs tumbled leather with breathable sandwich mesh, anchored by a distinct oblong toe shape and wrapped saddle-stitch detailing. Nodding to Crocs’ brand heritage, a custom-moulded TPU band references the archival Genna silhouette, accompanied by a toggle bungee lacing system and a heel pull tab for easy wear on a day-to-day basis. Underneath, a rugged rubber outsole is fused with Crocs’ signature LiteRide footbed, ensuring everyday support and lightweight cushioning.
To highlight the collaboration’s outdoor origins, American artist Jim Mangan photographed the official campaign near Crocs’ headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. Set across two local landmarks — the ancient sandstone formations of Red Rocks and Charles Haertling’s organic 1969 “Mushroom House” — the imagery pairs the hybrid footwear with select apparel from Kiko Kostadinov’s AW26 collection.
The Kiko Kostadinov x Crocs VAALS will be available to purchase starting October 20 on the Kiko Kostadinov website and select retail locations.
