Sexyy Red Breaks Silence on Sex Tape Leak

Sexyy Red joins New York‘s The Breakfast Club radio station, and breaks her silence on that sex tape leak.
October 2023, the well-loved sex-positive rapper went viral after a clip of an intimate moment was posted on her Instagram stories. The clip was very clearly a private moment and not meant for her large social media community, raising questions as to what happened. At the time, the rapper responded by turning off all comments on Twitter and wrote a tweet denying any involvement. “I’m so heartbroken anybody that kno me knows I wouldn’t do no goofy sht like that,” she wrote.

In the new interview, the “Pound Town” rapper reveals it was a simple mistake — gone extremely wrong. When asked if the post was intentional, she replied: “No, that was the wackest video, bruh. I was tired, I’m fat, pregnant, didn’t even feel like doing shit on there… And that’s the one that fucking get leaked.”
According to Sexyy Red, the video was pulled up on her screen and she put her phone down, not realizing that she posted the clip until hours later. The moment was a harsh lesson, she said. “I ain’t the one did it,” she continued. “It was an accident, but it still was like, ‘You dumb, pay attention. Be smarter, like, you moving too loose.’”
As for whether she’ll stop filming spicy content in her off time: “It’s my phone… I got all kind of stuff in my phone… Don’t y’all got shit on your phone?” she said. “Man, when I say I could really go viral, I could be a star… Nobody broke into my phone, I already know what happened. But I could really be a star if I post the real stuff.”
