Karol G is all about killing the haters with kindness. The Colombian singer recently shared a comment an Instagram user left on her latest post in which they pinpointed her tummy, criticizing her and the photographer who shot her. As a clapback, Karol shared an empowering message to fans on why it’s important to embrace our bodies the way they are.

“It’s not about whether or not my body favors me, because well, that’s my body and that’s how it is,” Karol wrote on her stories, before joking about the recent viral moment caught on camera in which she accepted a hot dog from a fan after a concert. “The tummy was because of the hot dog that someone gave me at a show a few days ago.”

She continued, “Never let comments like these distort how beautiful you look … Everybody is different … Everyone is beautiful just the way they are.”

She also urged others to be mindful of what they say because “there’s real people going through difficult times worrying about cellulite, wrinkles and fat that are all normal.” She added, “Love yourselves a lot.”
