Craftsmanship, Coffee and Cashmere: The Loro Piana Way
A first look at the Italian brand’s exclusive MFW activation and FW23 presentation.
Loro Piana took to the streets of Milan to celebrate its Fall/Winter 2023 collection in style. In the heart of the city, filled with Milan Fashion Week go-ers, the brand curated pop up cafés with drinks inspired by the collection’s rich craftsmanship and regional inspiration. When arriving at the kiosks, guests are invited to enjoy coffee, matcha and tea based on typical ingredients of Peru, New Zealand, Australia and Mongolia. As a special touch, Loro Piana gifted branded mugs made of glass and wood to take the experience home.
Alongside the kiosk activation, Loro Piana presented its FW23 collection with an exhibition tailored to perfection. Lined with bales of cashmere on the floors, walls and ceilings, the brand offered a sensorial way to experience its material innovations and heritage.
The collection itself merged layering, ballerina slippers and cashmere everything from CashDenim to CashFur. As a nod to the brand’s Equestrian DNA – stand out pieces included its green equestrian pants with laced sides as well as an elevated step into evening wear with black jackets, dresses and sweaters.
