POSTER GIRL Takes Things Stateside for FW23

With a new campaign starring City Girls’ JT and Gabbriette.

London-based label POSTER GIRL has officially made its foray into the States, debuting its Fall/Winter 2023 collection with a campaign shot in Los Angeles.

Starring City Girls’ JT and Gabbriette, the gritty visuals offer a sense of reclaimed femininity, fused with elements of sensuality and grunge. Inspired by everything from pirates to the Renaissance, the collection confidently cements POSTER GIRL’s fierce, feminine energy through signature fishnets, diamantes and chainmail styles. As JT describes it, “POSTER GIRL is very luxury hoe,” a persona which deeply infiltrates the entirety of FW23.

This season, POSTER GIRL debuts an all-new, pearl chainmail technique, developed in-house to create a three-dimensional pearl surface fused with metal mesh — offering an evolution on the brand’s iconic micro-mesh which makes up much of its collections. Elsewhere, the collection comprises brocade fabrics with hardware detailing and velvet trims. Silhouettes arrive in the form of mini dresses, fitted corsets and low-rise pants, merging luxury fabrics like satin and silk with edgy details and opulent embellishments.

The new collection also sees the introduction of three new shapewear categories of wide lattice, transparent mesh and flocked control wear, showcased through ruffled latex and built-in corset bras.
