Tiffany & Co. x Nike Craft One-of-a-Kind Air Force 1 Shoebox in Sterling Silver

As a continuation of their buzzy collaboration, Tiffany & Co. and Nike have revealed an all-sterling silver shoebox dedicated to their Air Force 1 1837.
Much like their co-branded silverware featuring a shoe horn, whistle, dubraes and more, this one-of-a-kind shoebox is crafted entirely in sterling silver as a celebration of the jeweler. Spotlighting the heritage brand’s craftsmanship, the box is handcrafted over the course of 155 hours at the Tiffany hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island, measuring 6 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 16 inches long. Altogether, the piece weighs 23 lbs or approximately 10.4 kilograms.
The shoebox, which won’t be on sale, is carefully made by artisans with silversmithing techniques including bending, cutting, filing, soldering, layout, scoring, fitting, stoning, polishing and etching, with the Swoosh appearing on the lid and Tiffany & Co.’s branding on the inside. The bottom of the box is lined with the iconic ‘Tiffany blue” hue to further mark the collaboration.
