The New Air Jordan 1 High OG "Praline" Is Inspired by Luxury Handbags
Rumored to release in women’s sizing in September.
Nike and Jordan Brand continue to deliver the goods where women’s exclusives are concerned, and the brand’s latest release is no different. Evolving the classic Air Jordan 1 High OG silhouette with a new “Praline” colorway, the design of Nike’s updated sneaker draws inspiration from luxury handbags.
Boasting a creamy brown accent color, the signature sneaker arrives with a clean leather upper, paired with a delicate satin ribbon in place of its usual flat, white laces. Landing in a soft nude pink, the new laces aim to complement the light “Praline” hue that adorns the shoe’s leather eye stays, overlays, mudguards and signature Swooshes.
Elsewhere, the sneaker features its typical white leather base, elevated by “Sail” details which feature on the stitched midsole and tongue. Rounding out the subtle sneaker’s design is a classic white Wings logo, paired with “Praline” colored hits on the shoe’s tongue branding and rubber outsole.
No official release details have been shared for the new Air Jordan 1 High OG “Praline” just yet, but the sneaker is rumored to release on September 13. Take an early look at the sneaker above, set to be priced at $180 USD.
