Green Nails Are Having a Major Breakthrough Moment for Spring 2023
50 shades of green, anyone?
For beauty, we talk so much about “going green” regarding sustainability and saving the earth that the color itself has taken a viral liking on TikTok, leaving us no choice but to trend green in all shades for our spring manicure choices.
#GreenNails have over 58 million views on Tiktok, letting us know we’re all on the same page. It’s the black of colors, as it is versatile enough to be worn in many different nail varnishes, no matter the season or the reason. Hunter and pine cone green take the lead in the winter, while sage and lime variations run the nail polish wall in spring and summer.
We’re not sure who’s responsible for choosing the color gradient this season, but green is getting a lot of play in the Google search engines. “Sage green nails” have been the most searched color since the start of spring. Also, let’s remember that pistachio has been in the lead, especially for fragrance launches since the beginning of 2023, so maybe the New Year was on to something.
Whatever the case, we want to be seen in green.
