During Emily Sauer’s 2022 Hypebae interview, she detailed her personal experience with painful sex and how it led to the creation of Ohnut, a hack for people with vulvas. When placed on the penetrating partner, the Ohnut rings act as buffers, and for lack of a sexy term, “regulate” penetration.
To help curb the pain, Saur recommended three things. First, consult your doctor to ensure you have the proper diagnosis. Two, research sexual wellness methods for relieving pain and don’t forget to share those with your doctor, too. Three, research positions that are ideal for minimizing pain, via this guide.
