Les Filles en Rouje by Jeanne Damas Ventures Into the Alluring Haircare World

Unveiling two key products for the perfect, beach-like messy hair.

After venturing into the skincare world with a line of simple, adaptable and effective products, Les Filles en Rouje, the new-wave beauty label created by French icon Jeanne Damas in 2018, now joins the alluring haircare realm. Following the imprint’s ethos of vegan and natural formulas, the launch comprises two staples for healthy and carefree hair with an after-beach day feel, the French way.

Damas told Hypebae: “We have developed a haircare line that is fresh, easy to use, full of nutrients and that smells good when you walk past. I wanted hair products that recreate that nonchalant French girl hairstyle. At Les Filles en Rouje, we believe that beauty comes from attitude. Fresh, intuitive and relaxed.”

L’HUILE is a fortifying and nourishing hair oil developed in France and made of a combination of precious oils, such as apricot, macadamia nuts and camellia oil — only with a few drops, straight, wavy or curly hair is protected and shinier. “This is our everything-oil: nourishes, protects, defines… As a mask before a wash day or on the tips, it is the perfect combination of the most nourishing and protective oils,” commented the Parisian style muse.

Meanwhile, LA BRUME is the go-to sea salt hair spray for a beach waves effect without leaving the house, bringing volume and shine. Thanks to the nori seaweed extract, it also protects the hair. “I use it in the morning to add texture and spray some more before going out, to get that ‘Undone look.’ It’s light and doesn’t make your hair rigid, but still gives volume and movement,” she added.

Les Filles en Rouje’s haircare line is now available to shop via the label’s website.
