Cro-Che Expands Into Swimwear for Summer

Breathable knits in breathtaking designs.

Crochet-based fashion label, aptly named Cro-Che, just expanded its Spring/Summer 2023 offering with a new line of swimwear, alongside a menswear collection.

Off the back of its undeniable success within ready-to-wear, the rising UK label aims to merge functionality with fashion within swimwear, carefully curating a selection of crocheted designs for summer holidays. Comprising two vibrant bikinis in black and pink, the new offering is the result of a long-awaited process, ensuring the brand’s signature process created a perfect fit.

“Swim was something I’ve wanted to do since launching,” explains founder Tacita Brown in a press release. “I love crochet bikinis, they can look amazing, however, so often the fit and shape aren’t always quite right. It was important to make sure the fit was perfect. The finished product is incredibly sexy with a cheeky fit,” she adds.

Continuing the brand’s sustainable ethos, its new collections are crafted with natural and eco-friendly fibres, with each piece hand crocheted in Bali, “by a group of extremely skilled artisans who live in the mountains,” Brown explains. “They are home workers, they do not have to leave their villages to find work in big cities. I know who is making my designs and producing the clothes, which I think is incredibly special and unique.”

Take a look at the new additions from Cro-Che above, and head to the brand’s website to purchase from May 18.
