See Inside Miranda Priestly's Iconic 'Devil Wears Prada' Townhouse

On sale for a clean, $27.5m USD.

The townhouse of dreams is officially up for sale, thanks to New York real estate agents Modlin Group. Made famous by the undeniably iconic film, The Devil Wears Prada, the townhouse was previously home to the fictional character (and fashion royalty) Miranda Priestly — played by Meryl Streep.

The 22-foot wide townhouse is located on East 73rd Street and is priced at a casual $27,500,000 USD. First showcased in the film as Andy (played by Anne Hathaway) sheepishly enters to deliver “the book,” the opulent home became a window into the otherwise mysterious life of Priestly.

According to Modlin Group, the home, built in 1907, offers a six-storey residence comprising 12,000 square feet of indoor living space, alongside several private outdoor spaces. Within the entryway is a formal gallery, which leads to an eat-in kitchen, complete with a breakfast space, parlor floor living room and dining room — complete with a decadent spiral staircase.

Elsewhere, the luxurious home features working fireplaces, its own gym, a custom basketball court and multiple Juliet balconies, alongside a recreation room, built-in bookshelves and a terrace complete with its very own jacuzzi. As expected, eager buyers will require pre-approval before they’re able to even tour the impressive location — so we won’t be holding our breath.

Instead, we’ll take a look inside the glorious townhouse in the photos above, and stay patiently awaiting our own Anne Hathaway-style makeover, complete with the finances, of course.
