Amaarae Drops New Music Video "Wasted Eyes" Along With New Album 'Fountain Baby'

Amaarae has dropped a new music video for her latest single, “Wasted Eyes,” which is part of her new album, Fountain Baby.
“Wasted Eyes” is a relatable pop and R&B-infused track about realizing your worth in a relationship. In the chorus, she sings, “I can’t be your lover/ Too many things to lose/ You love me with no honor/ Don’t wanna leave, I don’t/ I knew that you were trouble/ Wasted eyes on you/ I can’t be your lover/ Too many things to lose.”
“Wasted Eyes” is one of 14 tracks off the singer’s new LP. “Fountain Baby exudes an unstoppable surge of sex appeal, abundant blessings, and undeniable swag. It serves as my vibrant declaration to the world that I am a truly blessed child of God,” Amarae said in a press release about her new album.
