Daily Paper just announced its newest summer statement bag, dubbed the Cimbia Shield Bag.
Acting as a physical manifestation of the brand’s signature emblem, a modern interpretation of the Maasai shield, the new bag seeks to reflect the “nomadic spirit” of the Maasai, with Daily Paper’s founders representing modern nomads. Striving to communicate messages of community and protection, the new bag celebrates Daily Paper’s core heritage.
Crafted from smooth black leather, the cross-body bag features an embossed shield motif and comes complete with a detachable shoulder strap and silver zip detailing. Inside, the bag boasts a lightweight cotton lining alongside an extra pocket for holding cards. The new bag joins an extensive line-up of existing DP bags and accessories, including the Meru, Nay and Ehamea bags alongside caps, socks and sunglasses.
