On June 6th, 1998, American culture shifted ever so slightly when HBO premiered the pilot episode of Sex And The City. Set in the boisterous trenches of New York City, the rom-com follows the lives of four best friends, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), who were incredibly fabulous and hopelessly devoted to the notion of love.

25 years later, the series is an iconic nod to feminity and its entanglement to life in the Big Apple. Moreover, the cast’s fashion choices have left an imprint on fans that will likely last a lifetime and inspire generations to come.
