A New, Wes Anderson 'Asteroid City' Exhibition Is Coming to London
Complete with its own ’50s-style diner experience.
Celebrating the upcoming release (and recent Cannes Film Festival premiere) of Wes Anderson‘s Asteroid City, an all-new exhibition is coming to the UK.
Hosted by London‘s 180 Studios and Universal Pictures, the new exhibition is set to feature original sets, prop costumes, artwork and visuals from the lauded director’s signature filmmaking style, all designed in his retro, dream-fuelled aesthetic. Visitors will also have the opportunity to dine at the ’50s-style diner featured in the film, created on-site for the ultimate immersive experience.
The film itself is set to take place in 1955 in a fictional desert town, where an annual Space Cadet convention is disrupted “by world-changing events.” With a star-studded cast that includes the likes of Maya Hawke, Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie and Steve Carrell, it’s set to be a big one.
The exhibition takes place at 180 Studios from June 17 to July 7. For more information and how to purchase tickets, head to the 180 Studios’ website.
Asteroid City is set to premiere globally on June 23. In the meantime, check out the official trailer.
In other news, Frank Ocean’s Homer just released a 48-page photo book.
