Chopova Lowena have unveiled their latest book, Conversations with Angels, featuring Academy Award-nominated actress Chloë Sevigny as the enchanting Snow Queen. This third book from the brand offers a reimagining of the beloved Danish fairytale, which deeply resonated with co-founder Laura Lowena during her childhood.
Shot in picturesque locations across New York and London, Conversations with Angels presents a modern interpretation of The Snow Queen, a timeless tale that celebrates the triumph of goodness over evil and the essence of friendship. The book beautifully showcases Chopova Lowena’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection, drawing inspiration from the vibrant styles of the ’70s ski era and the elegance of Georgian-era dress.
“We love creating books because it gives us a chance to completely express our vision in such a meaningful way. This one was particularly special, as we had the opportunity to work with our long-time collaborator Charlotte Wales and the incredible Chloë Sevigny. We collaborated with an amazing creative team, including Precious Okoyomon, Jamie Reid and Agata Belcen, to bring the story to life. It was so exciting to work with Chloë on Conversations with Angels; we are huge fans of her work and it was a dream to collaborate with her,” shared Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena, the visionary duo behind the folkloric label.
