Nike Is on the Dark Side of the Moon With Air Max 90 in "Black Gum"
It glows in the dark.
Nike has revamped the Air Max 90, presenting the silhouette in an all-black “Black Gum.”
Boasting a multitude of materials, the sneaker is crafted from canvas, leather and top-grain nubuck. Cracked leather panel Swooshes add dimension and grit, wile subtle hits of navy and gray rest on the eyelets, slightly breaking up the enigmatic exterior. 3M reflective detailing brightens up the swooshes, as well as the laces and tongue tag. Special branding also appears on the tongue, reading “Nike Air Max 1990.” A black and bubble midsole, alongside a Gum outsole elevates the shoe and harmonizes the deisgn.
Set to launch in the next coming months via Nike and select retailers, the Air Max 90 “Black Gum” will be available for $130 USD. Take a look in the gallery above.
