Alisha Boe Is the Face of "Black Opium"
YSL Beauty has announced the actor as global ambassador of the fragrance.
YSL Beauty has named Alisha Boe the newest face of “Black Opium,” as the fragrance‘s global ambassador. Citing her breakout role on 13 Reasons Why along with her effortlessly cool, unapologetic energy, the brand says Boe embodies the daring-yet relatable spirit “Black Opium” has built its identity on. Leaning into that shared sense of fearlessness, YSL Beauty positions the partnership as the next chapter for a perfume that’s been a staple of nightlife culture since 2014.
“‘BLACK OPIUM’ is pure adrenaline — that raw, electric energy of a night out. It doesn’t play it safe, and that’s exactly why I love it. I’m so excited to be the new global ambassador because this fragrance is really an invitation to embrace your most unapologetic self, turn up the music and bring everyone along for the ride,” Boe says in a press release. Alongside the announcement, YSL Beauty has unveiled “Black Opium Pink Glaze,” a gourmand twist on the original scent.

The campaign centers “Pink Glaze,” a sensual, strawberry-laced spin designed to capture Boe’s signature blend of cool and easygoing. The full rollout leans into the tension YSL Beauty has built its name on: daring but down-to-earth, edgy but real, all wrapped around an aura the brand says lingers “long after she’s left the room.”
