Twitter reacts to the former One Direction star on “Call Her Daddy.”
In a newly released clip from podcast ”Call Her Daddy,” singer Zayn Malik attempts to promote new music and discuss his relationship with his daughter.
According to the former One Director singer, his reappearance is due to his daughter and his need to fight his anxiety of being public. But as the UK singer reveals his struggles and prepares his fans for his upcoming release, one thing remains on their mind — and at the top of his Google Trends search.

Struggling to grasp the star’s return via the podcast – their words, not ours – new listeners were also surprised to hear his Yorkshire accent for the first time. Shortly thereafter, “Zayn Malik accent” was bumped to the top trend for the singer, which we’d assume wasn’t the goal of the interview.

In an interview with supermodel and mother of his daughter, Gigi Hadid, she tried her hand at the Yorkshire accent – to Malik’s dismay. “Sometimes Zee thinks I’m making fun of him. I’m like “Babe, I’m not making fun of you. I just love the accent.”
