Cardi B's Thrown Microphone Is Being Auctioned for Charity

Earlier this week, Cardi B proved that she does not tolerate disrespect of any kind when she threw her microphone at a “fan” who threw water on her while she was performing at Las Vegas‘ Drai.
The incident is getting a happy ending as the Shure Axient digital microphone, or self-defense weapon, is now being auctioned off for charity. Originally priced for $1,000 USD, the piece of equipment was listed on eBay for $500 USD by The Wave, according to TMZ, and currently has a bid of $97,300 USD. Owner Scott Fisher states that the proceeds will be divided for the Wounded Warrior Project and Friendship Circle Las Vegas, with the latter of helping teenagers and young adults with special needs.
While the charities may be getting a payday, Cardi B might be facing legal trouble as she is now being investigated for battery by the authorities as the woman who was allegedly hit by the microphone filed a police report.
