NBA icon LeBron James has once again stirred up excitement among sneakerheads with a tantalizing preview of his upcoming collaboration with Nike. While Nike Basketball has yet to make an official announcement, James recently treated his followers to another sneak peek, this time showcasing an in-hand image of the “Violet Dust” colorway.
The sneaker boasts a dominant nubuck upper in a regal purple shade, paying homage to the LA Lakers’ iconic colors. Delicate gold embroidery graces the Swooshes on both sides, the tongue and the heel’s geometric pattern. The heel features an iridescent finish, radiating a deep purple hue and infusing a futuristic touch. The Nike LeBron 21, set to debut in the 2023-24 NBA season, is expected to hold more surprises in store.
The LeBron 21 “Violet Dust” edition is anticipated to hit the shelves on October 14, available through Nike’s official channels and select retailers, priced at $200 USD.
